Ashland is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Cherry Hill, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 8,302.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Ashland had a total area of 2.919 square miles (7.561 km²), including 2.914 square miles (7.547 km²) of land and 0.005 square miles (0.014 km²) of water (0.19%).

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 8,302 people, 3,084 households, and 2,223.564 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,849.1 per square mile (1,100.0/km²). There were 3,215 housing units at an average density of 1,103.3 per square mile (426.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 80.28% (6,665) White, 7.03% (584) Black or African American, 0.11% (9) Native American, 9.06% (752) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 1.26% (105) from other races, and 2.25% (187) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.78% (480) of the population.

There were 3,084 households out of which 30.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.4% were married couples living together, 10.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families. 23.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62 and the average family size was 3.13.

In the CDP, the population was spread out with 21.9% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 23.7% from 25 to 44, 28.9% from 45 to 64, and 18.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43.4 years. For every 100 females there were 93.3 males. For every 100 females ages 18 and older there were 88.8 males.
