Mountain View is a town in Uinta County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 1,286 at the 2010 census.
Mountain View was founded in 1891, and is located near Fort Bridger.
Mountain View is located at 41°16′18″N 110°20′10″W (41.271637, -110.336232).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.85 square miles (2.20 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,286 people, 468 households, and 363 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,512.9 inhabitants per square mile (584.1/km2). There were 506 housing units at an average density of 595.3 per square mile (229.8/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 97.0% White, 0.1% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 1.2% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.9% of the population.
There were 468 households of which 43.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.5% were married couples living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.4% were non-families. 18.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.13.
The median age in the town was 31.9 years.
