According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (2.38%) is water.
At the 2000 census there were 1,298 people, 549 households, and 376 families living in the CDP. The population density was 1,588.6 people per square mile (611.2/km2). There were 613 housing units at an average density of 750.2/sq mi (288.6/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.31% White, 0.08% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.39% from other races, and 0.15% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.69%.

The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.88.
