Willard is a village in Torrance County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 253 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is not experiencing the same extreme growth that towns farther north in the state are. A wind farm has recently been constructed upon the mesa just south of the town. It provides power for about 25,000 homes in Arizona.
Willard is located at 34°35′47″N 106°1′59″W (34.596497, -106.033108).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 240 people, 96 households, and 60 families residing in the village. The population density was 310.5 people per square mile (120.3/km²). There were 115 housing units at an average density of 148.8 per square mile (57.7/km²).
