How to solve the foreclosure crisis

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2009 Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program, which was an essay contest dubbed "How to solve the foreclosure crisis."

The competition was fierce — the Foreclosure.com team had to narrow down the selections to the top 25 essays out of more than 1,000 submissions. The top 25 essays were then sent to be reviewed by some of the brightest minds of academia. The judges — college professors from around the country  &mdash narrowed down the selection to one finalist and four semifinalists.

$5,000 Scholarship Winner:

Foreclosure.com would like to thank all the colleges and universities for their support and all the participants who submitted essays to the competition. Many bright, young minds participated in the essay contest, offering a great assortment of ideas and solutions to the current economic crisis.

If you are a student who was unable to enter the competition don't dismay. Foreclosure.com is happy to announce a second scholarship set to begin in the next coming months.
