Blacksville is a town in Monongalia County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 171 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Morgantown, West Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Blacksville was founded in 1829 by David Black, and named for him.

At the 2010 census there were 171 people, 69 households, and 46 families living in the town. The population density was 570.0 inhabitants per square mile (220.1/km2). There were 79 housing units at an average density of 263.3 per square mile (101.7/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 97.1% White and 2.9% from two or more races. Of the 69 households 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.9% were married couples living together, 14.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 33.3% were non-families. 24.6% of households were one person and 8.7% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 3.00.
