Fairdale is a city in Walsh County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 38 at the 2010 census. Fairdale was founded in 1905.

There were 33 housing units at an average density of 106.5 per square mile (41.1/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 92.1% White, 2.6% Asian, and 5.3% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.3% of the population.
