Hampton is a city in Franklin County, Iowa, United States. The population was 4,461 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Franklin County.

The racial makup of the city was 89.1% White, 0.6% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 7.2% from other races, and 2.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 21.5%.
