Lake Winnebago is a city in Cass County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,131 at the 2010 census.
Lake Winnebago is located at 38°49′45″N 94°22′1″W (38.829238, -94.366989).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.72 square miles (7.04 km2), of which, 2.28 square miles (5.91 km2) is land and 0.44 square miles (1.14 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,131 people, 456 households, and 378 families residing in the city. The population density was 496.1 inhabitants per square mile (191.5/km2). There were 496 housing units at an average density of 217.5 per square mile (84.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.7% White, 0.2% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.4% Pacific Islander, 0.5% from other races, and 1.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.6% of the population.
There were 456 households of which 27.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.2% were married couples living together, 4.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 1.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 17.1% were non-families. 14.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 2.73.
The median age in the city was 50.9 years. 20.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 15.3% were from 25 to 44; 39.9% were from 45 to 64; and 20.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 47.7% male and 52.3% female.
As of the census of 2000, there were 902 people, 350 households, and 289 families residing in the city. The population density was 478.6 people per square mile (185.2/km²). There were 359 housing units at an average density of 190.5 per square mile (73.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.11% White, 0.11% Native American, 0.22% Asian, 0.33% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.33% of the population.
