Hollister is a city in Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. The population was 272 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Twin Falls, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Hollister is located at 42°21′8″N 114°34′50″W (42.352174, -114.580443), on the east bank of Salmon Falls Creek.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.07 square miles (2.77 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 272 people, 92 households, and 64 families residing in the city. The population density was 254.2 inhabitants per square mile (98.1/km2). There were 100 housing units at an average density of 93.5 per square mile (36.1/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 83.1% White, 0.4% Native American, 12.1% from other races, and 4.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 29.0% of the population.
There were 92 households, of which 38.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.9% were married couples living together, 3.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 30.4% were non-families.
