Riverton is a village in Franklin County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 89 at the 2010 census.
A post office was established in Riverton in 1871. Riverton was incorporated as a village in 1880.

At the 2010 census there were 89 people, 46 households, and 24 families in the village. The population density was 228.2 inhabitants per square mile (88.1/km2). There were 77 housing units at an average density of 197.4 per square mile (76.2/km2). The racial makup of the village was96.6% White and 3.4% from two or more races.
Of the 46 households 13.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 34.8% were married couples living together, 15.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 47.8% were non-families. 43.5% of households were one person and 15.2% were one person aged 65 or older.
