Randolph is a city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. The population was 52 at the 2010 census. It is completely surrounded by Kansas City and is a part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
An early variant name was "East Kansas City". The name of the post office changed from East Kansas City to Randolph in 1920, and the post office closed in 1928.
Randolph is located at 39°9′31″N 94°29′40″W (39.158653, -94.494410).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.35 square miles (0.91 km2), of which 0.33 square miles (0.85 km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2) is water. Randolph is on the banks of the Missouri River. It is surrounded by Kansas City on all land borders, and the opposite side of the Missouri is also Kansas City.
As of the census of 2010, there were 52 people, 24 households, and 14 families living in the city. The population density was 157.6 inhabitants per square mile (60.8/km2). There were 26 housing units at an average density of 78.8 per square mile (30.4/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.1% White and 1.9% Asian.
