Riverdale is a city in southern Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 8,426 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.4 square miles (11.5 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,656 people, 2,806 households, and 2,045 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,726.1 people per square mile (665.8/km2). There were 2,970 housing units at an average density of 669.6 per square mile (258.3/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 91.95% White, 1.48% African American, 0.60% Native American, 1.38% Asian, 0.30% Pacific Islander, 2.32% from other races, and 1.96% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.37% of the population.
There were 2,806 households, out of which 36.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.8% were married couples living together, 11.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.1% were non-families.
