Whaleyville is a census-designated place in Worcester County, Maryland, United States. The population was 149 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 124 people, 57 households, and 38 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 128.9 people per square mile (49.9/km2). There were 64 housing units at an average density of 66.5/sq mi (25.7/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.16% White, 2.42% African American, 2.42% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.42% of the population.
There were 57 households, out of which 22.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.6% were married couples living together, 12.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% were non-families. 28.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
