At the 2000 census there were 4,555 people, 1,524 households, and 1,342 families living in the CDP. The population density was 4,038.2 people per square mile (1,556.4/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.07% White, 1.19% African American, 0.09% Native American, 1.65% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.94%.
Of the 1,524 households 44.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.8% were married couples living together, 8.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 11.9% were non-families. 10.3% of households were one person and 3.9% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.99 and the average family size was 3.21.
