The racial makeup of the village was 26.1% White, 67.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 2.9% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 1.1% from other races, and 2.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.3% of the population.
